Supporting and Supplementary Planning Documents

Supplementary Planning Documents are material planning considerations which give further guidance on specific policy topic areas. For example affordable housing provision, that have been identified in core policy or to give detailed guidance on the development of specific sites.

The Council has produced the following supplementary planning documents, some of which have been jointly produced with South Ribble and Chorley Council.

The documents provide guidance on the interpretation and implementation of relevant planning policies in the Central Lancashire Core Strategy.
