Club gaming and machine permits
There are two types of club permits available:
- a club gaming permit
- a club machine permit
Club gaming permits
This allows no more than three gaming machines in total.
Each machine must be from categories B3A, B4, C or D. Only one B3A machine can be sited as part of this entitlement.
Club gaming permits also allow equal-chance gaming (for example, poker) and games of chance (for example, pontoon) under certain restrictions.
Club machine permits
This allows no more than three gaming machines in total.
Members' clubs and miners' welfare institutes may site up to three machines from categories B3A, B4, C or D. Only one B3A machine can be sited as part of this entitlement.
Commercial clubs may site up to three machines from categories B4, C or D not B3A machines.

Payment can be made through the licensing office on 01772 906910 (option 1) using a debit or credit card.
Annual permit fees
A reminder letter will be sent out to you one month before your annual fee due date detailing how to make payment.
Renewing your permit
Your permit will last 10 years from the date of issue. For charges please visit gambling fees.
