About the guide

This guide is intended to provide base line guidance to events being held within Preston City Council's area of responsibility.

Preston City Council shall not be responsible for the interpretation of this guidance, and it is the responsibility of the reader to ensure that the latest legislation and British standards are followed.

It is the responsibility of the event organisers under Health and Safety legislation to ensure as far as is reasonably practicable the most up to date legislation and best practice is followed.
