Notice to Mariners - light fitted to 8.5 mile south buoy

The lit perch at 8½ mile on the south side of the river(53.43.599N, 02.56.740W) was previously reported as having been damaged and collapsed by unknown causes.

An unlit starboard-hand green buoy was chained in the approximate position of the 8½ mile south marker.

This update is to confirm that a light has been installed to the buoy this morning with the characteristics of Flashing Green five seconds.
