Neighbourhood Planning Referendum - Barton

A referendum took place on the Barton Neighbourhood Plan on Thursday 9 November 2023. The Declaration of Result of Poll is available in the Relevant Documents section.

The area that the Barton Neighbourhood Plan relates to is the same as the Barton Parish Council boundary which is within the Preston City Council Local Planning Authority area and a small area is within the Wyre Borough Council Local Planning area.

The question that was asked at the Referendum was:

"Do you want Preston City Council and Wyre Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Barton Neighbourhood Area to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood Area?"
