Audit reports

Each year, Grant Thornton (our external auditors) carry out an audit on the authority's statement of accounts. 

The results are incorporated within their Audit Findings Report (formerly known as the Annual Governance Report), which is presented to us in September each year.

In addition, Grant Thornton also produce an Annual Audit Letter, which summarises the work done during the year including an opinion on how well the authority is using its resources to deliver value for money.
