Lancashire County Council has 1 councillor vacancy in each of its 9 divisions and will be holding elections on the 1 May 2025.
Be a Councillor Night
If you're considering becoming a councillor or want to find out more about the role of a Councillor, you are invited to come along to an information evening on Tuesday 19 November at 6.00pm at County Hall, Preston (entry from 5.30pm).
Free parking will be available on the Arthur Street staff car park, sat nav PR1 8XB, and you should enter the building via Pitt Street reception.
There will be an opportunity to find out more about the county council, the role of councillors, ask questions about the election process and informally speak with council officers about the support available.
The event is free to attend, but booking is essential and can be done on the Lancashire County Council website.
