Landlords information pack
We recognise that a well managed and maintained private rented sector provides an important source of accommodation within the city.
This information pack has been put together as part of the partnership between us and other agencies and private sector landlords which is developing through our Private Sector Landlords' Forum. It is intended to give you advice and information about your obligations and rights as a landlord.
The legislation covering the private rented sector is often complex and the information included in this pack is not, and has not been intended to be, a statement of law. In all cases, if you are unsure about your legal position or how best to proceed in any matter relating to a tenancy, you should seek further advice by contacting the appropriate department or organisation.
