Goosnargh and Whittingham Whitsuntide Festival road closure (Saturday 31 May 2025)

A road closure will take place due to the Goosnargh and Whittingham Whitsuntide Festival on Saturday 31 May 2025 from 1pm. to 4:45pm.

Only vehicles forming part of or otherwise used in connection with the Goosnargh and Whittingham Whitsuntide Festival or emergency service vehicles will be allowed to travel along the above roads at the time of the public procession.

From its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Cumeragh Lane

Cumeragh Lanefrom its junction with Whittingham Lane for 350 metres in a southern direction

The diversion route for the above road closures will be via Goosnargh Lane, Langley Lane, Inglewhite Road, Halfpenny Lane and Cumeragh Lane in both directions.

There is no diversion route for the above road closures.

The above road closures are necessary to prevent obstruction of the streets at the time of public procession.
