Conway Park Play Area Improvements
Preston City Council and Friends of Conway Park have developed and secured funding to make improvements to Conway Park Play Area.
The work is being funded thanks to very successful fund raising by Friends of Conway Park and includes grants from;

Notification of site works
Landscape Engineering Ltd has been appointed by Preston City Council as the contractor for works to partially improve the play facilities for children on this site.
This 2nd phase of works will concentrate on refurbishing the central part of the play area, and along with new surfacing will include;
- replacing the old roundabout with a new accessible one
- installing 3 new spinner bowls
- refurbishing the existing multi unit.
When will the work take place?
Work is due to start on site in the week beginning 13 March, for 3 weeks, for completion hopefully in time for Easter .
Please be aware that the play area will be closed whilst the work takes place. They will also be some disruption to entrance areas onsite whilst the work takes place.
