02 October 2023: Park tennis courts in Preston have officially reopened following a £243,000 renovation, managed by the LTA, and funded by the UK Government and LTA Tennis Foundation and Preston City Council.
More affordable warmth funding for Preston residents
27 September 2023: Funding has been made available to Preston City Council to deliver high impact affordable warmth interventions to individuals who are the most vulnerable to harm from cold or damp homes. Lancashire County Council has provided an Affordable Warmth Grant to districts including Preston.
