10 March 2023: Preston Markets traders came together this week to celebrate the Market Hall's fifth birthday.

9 March 2023: Own Our Venues', the campaign launched by the charity Music Venue Trust (MVT) is calling on other councils to follow Preston City Council's example as they make a radical intervention into the ownership of the UK's Grassroots Music Venues (GMVs).

2 March 2023: so far, thirty properties in Preston have already been refurbished and returned to family homes as part of the project, 2 having been empty for a total of 112 years.

22 February 2023: A popular Preston Market trader is celebrating his 40th anniversary in business.

21 February 2023: Loungers has signed a 15-year lease at Animate, Preston's city-owned £45 million cinema and leisure complex, which is being delivered by Maple Grove Developments. The announcement comes after Eric Wright Construction started on site last month.

17 February 2023: Plans by Preston City Council to transform the Grade II Listed Amounderness House into serviced offices and managed workspace accommodation have moved a step closer with a tenant having been selected to operate the facility.

13 February 2023: The new Preston Western Distributor Road, linking parts of Preston and the Fylde to the M55 motorway, is to receive an official new name.
