Council Tax Error

Due to an error, the 1 October council tax instalment has been taken one day earlier.

Unfortunately, payment cannot be recalled but customers can do the following to avoid charges that may incur:

• Contact your bank today and tell them that the amount deducted today was not due today and the amount will be refunded immediately without charge.
• If you do not notice that the money has left your account until days later then you will need to submit a direct debit indemnity claim with the bank and you will receive your money back within 24 hours.
