Missed business waste collection

If your business waste collection has been missed on your scheduled waste collection day, we will return to empty it.

Please note: missed bins must be reported within two working days. After this, containers may be emptied first time, but future occurrences will be charged to return and empty.

Before reporting a missed container

Before reporting a missed container please make sure you are aware of the following:

Day and time

Check your waste was put out on the correct day using the following tool:

Find your waste collection day

Business waste collections take place between 7am and 3pm.

Incorrect waste items

Check if you have placed any incorrect items in your bins. For a complete list of what you can and can't put in your bins see what can I put in my commercial waste bins.

Bank holiday collections

We collect on all bank holidays apart from:

• Christmas Day
• Boxing Day
• New Years Day

If your collection falls on one of these days and you would like to arrange an alternative collection please contact us on 01772 906221.

Report a missed container

If you think your waste has genuinely been missed, report it to us by completing the online form:

Please wait until after 3pm on the day of the collection before reporting it.

Please note: missed bins must be reported within 2 working days.

What happens next?

We will aim to collect waste within two working days of it being reported. Unfortunately, we cannot give you a specific day or time for this.

Please leave your container in the usual location. If there are any issues regarding your collection, we will contact you.
