Building regulation application search

Magnifying glass

Our building regulation application search allows you to search for applications by:

  • address
  • postcode
  • PCC Reference number

Please note: you can search for applications dating back to 1996.

Types of applications included

  • Building Regulations Applications - applications submitted to us for approval and inspection of works for Building Regulations compliance
  • Approved Inspector Initial Notices - applications submitted to an Approved Inspector company to process and inspect works for Building Regulations compliance.
  • Competent Persons Notifications - notifications received under the Competent Persons Scheme.

Searches and related applications

Some results will be labelled 'Associated with Searched Address' within the location field.

This means that while the location may not match what you have searched, the address you have searched is related to that application, for example applications for new dwellings, flats etc.

Request building regulation document copies

We hold a record of all Building Regulations applicable works. However this does not mean that we hold paperwork and certification for all those works.

Below is a breakdown of who you will need to contact for copies of documents based on the application type:

Approved Inspector Initial Notices and Competent Persons Notifications

Please contact the Approved Inspector associated to the individual application and/or the Competent Persons Scheme associated to the individual application.
