• Postcode
• PCC Reference number

Please note: you can search for applications dating back to 1996.

Building Regulation Application Search

Types of applications included

• Building Regulations Applications - applications submitted to us for approval and inspection of works for Building Regulations compliance.
• Registered Building Control Approver (RBCA) Initial Notices - applications submitted to a private RBCA company to process and inspect works for Building Regulations compliance.
• Competent Persons Notifications - notifications received under the Competent Persons Scheme

Please note: We do not hold copy documents for applications registered with an RBCA or Competent Persons Scheme, this information will need to be obtained through the scheme holder.

Searches and related applications

Some results will be labelled 'Associated with Searched Address' within the location field.

This means that while the location may not match what you have searched, the address you have searched is related to the application, for example applications for new dwellings, flats etc.

Request building regulation document copies

We hold document copies of Building Regulations Applications.

Request copies of building regulations approvals and completion certificates

Copies of Building Regulations Approval and Completion Certificates are £36 per document (including, VAT).

We will aim to email you the requested documents within five working days, however this may take longer for document requests of more than 15 years old.
