Parking fines (Penalty Charge Notices)

We are responsible for enforcing parking fines (Penalty Charge Notices) for the following city centre car parks owned by us: 

Please note: on street parking fines within Preston (such as parking on a double or single yellow line) is the responsibility of Lancashire County Council - parking - pay or challenge your penalty notice.

When are parking fines issued?

Parking fines may be issued in our car parks if you:

  • Do not clearly display a valid pay and display ticket or parking permit
  • Do not clearly display a valid disabled blue badge and clock set at time of arrival
  • Do not park within the parking bay lines
  • Park causing an obstruction
  • Park after the expiry of a pay and display ticket or parking permit
  • Park a motorcycle outside a designated motorcycle parking area

Ignoring a parking fine

If you ignore a parking fine (Penalty Charge Notice) or do not pay, further action may be taken and will result in debt registration and the pursuit of the charge through the county court and bailiff action.
