There are many ways to engage in Preston's major events and we welcome interest from a wide range of organisations, businesses, communities and individuals.

See below for the different ways you can register your interest with us. Once registered we will inform you of opportunities that arise for our events throughout the year.

Event stall holders (food and non food)

We offer opportunities for trading at our events through our application process outlined below.

Stall holder application process

Add yourself to our stall holders database

  1. We hold a stall holder database, which we use to email stall holder opportunities as they become available. If you would like to be added our database please complete the supplier events form
  2. Complete the stall holder booking form.

Requirements

  • Public Liability Insurance to a minimum indemnity of £5 million
  • Employers Liability Insurance to a minimum indemnity of £10 million (if applicable)
  • Risk Assessment

How much?

  • None food commercial - £50 (including VAT)
  • None food charity - £25 (including VAT)

Food stall holders

If you wish to have a food stall at one of our events, you must have achieved a minimum score of 3 on the National Food Hygiene rating scheme.

If this scheme does not operate in your area, your current risk rating will be checked by our Environmental Health team.

Selection criteria

Food stall requests will be acknowledged upon completing the form, though will not be accepted until a decision has been made. The decision is based on a scoring system around the below criteria:

  • Previous experience
  • Quality of offer ( e.g. range and quality)
  • Price of menu
  • Documents provided

Please note: you will not make payment until your application is successful.

What to include

  • Public Liability Insurance to a minimum indemnity of £5 million
  • Employers Liability Insurance to a minimum indemnity of £10 million
  • Risk Assessment
  • Gas Test Certificate
  • PAT Test Certificate
  • Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent
  • A minimum Hygiene rating of 3 or above on the National Food Hygiene Rating Scheme
  • Menu
  • Which Local Authority you are registered with?
