The validation checklist updated documents

The Council's Validation Checklist sets out the national information requirements that must accompany an application for planning permission and provides a list of local information requirements.

The 'local list' is prepared by the local planning authority to clarify what information is required for applications of a particular type, scale or location.

Updated list of local information requirements

In accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and its associated National Planning Practice Guidance, the local planning authority has updated its list of local information requirements/local list for the purposes of validating planning and other applications and its list of local information requirements/local list for the purposes of validating householder applications.

Consultation Period

The updated versions of both validation checklists are now available for a 6 week consultation period until Friday 21 January 2022.
