Full Rent: £12186.72pa (+vat) / £1015.56pm (+vat)  *Current Rent payable; £9374.40pa (+vat) / £781.20pm (+vat).

*Current rent payable until opening of ANIMATE Development adjacent in early 2025, when it is proposed the current 30% rent reduction will be removed.
 

Utilities are billed separately.

Business rates

Business Rates are applicable (Subject to status/conditions). Rate Relief can be applied for, depending on your circumstances.

Leases

Leases are designed to offer traders a balance of flexibility and security of tenure and will be offered on a three year and six-year basis.

What happens next?

Assessment of applications

Following assessment of the applications (PDF) [178KB] and interviews (if required), stalls will be allocated to applicants with the best offer whilst taking into account that we need to achieve the right balance of goods and services for a successful market.

Successful applicants will need to provide Public Liability Insurance (PLI) for minimum £10 million and relevant to market trading.

About Preston Market Hall

The award-winning Grade 2 listed 'European style' Market Hall is made up of mainly hot and cold food stalls (approximately 75%) with a focus on quality produce at great value prices.

Market Hall also accommodates non-food and service stalls that demonstrate traditions of good quality and interest that will retain existing customers as well as attracting a wide range of new people into the markets.
