Preston Pride Parade road closure (Saturday 28 September 2024)
A road closure will take place due to the Preston Pride Parade on Saturday 28 September 2024 between 10:15am to 11:15am.

Please note: only vehicles forming part of or otherwise used in connection with the Preston Pride Parade or emergency service vehicles will be allowed to travel along the above roads during the event.
What are the diversions?
The diversion routes for the above closures will be via:
Church Street, Ring Way, North Road, Tithebarn Street and Old Vicarage in that direction only.
Moor Lane, North Road, Garstang Road, Aqueduct Street, Brook Street and Fylde Road and vice versa
Suspend various one-way traffic restrictions
A further effect of this Order will be to suspend (i) various one-way traffic restrictions and (ii) a bus only street restriction on the following roads to enable vehicles to obtain egress from roads in the vicinity of the route:
- (i) one-way traffic - Union Street, Hope Street, Marsh Lane and Edward Street.
- (ii) bus only street - Corporation Street (southbound).
The above-mentioned road closures are necessary to prevent obstruction of the streets at a time of a public procession, namely the Preston Pride Parade.
