Disabled (blue badge) city centre parking
We offer designated city centre parking for disabled blue badge holders at a number of our car parks.
Chapel Yard disabled car park
Chapel Yard disabled car park is a dedicated disabled surface car park.
There are 30 spaces available for blue badge holder use only.
Please note: a number of these spaces are designated for mobility centre users.
Opening times: 24 hours (Mon to Sun, plus bank holidays)

Hill Street car park offers two designated parking spaces.
Opening times: 24 hours (Monday to Sunday, plus bank holidays)
Avenham car park (multi storey)
Avenham multi-storey car park offers designated disabled parking on the following level:
- ground floor close to the exits at Glover and Syke Street (3 spaces)
Opening times: 6.45am to 8pm (Mon to Sun, plus bank holidays)
Penny Street car park (surface)
Penny Street car park offers four designated parking spaces.
Opening times: 24 hours (Monday to Sunday, plus bank holidays)

Parking fines (Penalty Charge Notices)
If vehicles are parked in any of our designated disabled parking spaces without following our conditions of use, then you may be issued with a parking fine (penalty charge notice).
