Grimsargh Neighbourhood Plan (current application)

Grimsargh Parish Neighbourhood Area was formally designated as a Neighbourhood Area by the City Council on 12 October 2016.

Upon receipt of the area application (PDF) [18KB] , the Council publicised Grimsargh Parish Boundary – for Neighbourhood Plan (PDF) [180KB] applied for and a supporting statement from Grimsargh Parish Council (the relevant body) on this website.

One response was received, which raised no objection to the designation of the neighbourhood area and focused on the potential content of the yet-to-be developed neighbourhood plan.

The Council subsequently resolved that the Neighbourhood Area applied for (comprising the whole of Grimsargh Parish) was appropriate, and should therefore be designated.

It is expected that an application for a Neighbourhood Plan will now follow, which will involve further consultation.
