Preston City Council Local Elections took place on Thursday 5 May 2022. There was one vacancy in each of the Council's 16 wards except Brookfield Ward which had two vacancies following the sad death of Councillor John Browne. In addition there was also an election for one Parish Councillor in Broughton-in-Amounderness Parish Council.
