This Footpath Diversion Order has been made for development work to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (reference number 06/2014/0323).

What development work will be carried out?

The development work will include an employment area made up of general industrial (Class B2) and warehouse (Class B8) uses on 17.25 ha of land with access from Bluebell Way, Fulwood, Preston.

Footpath closure

The entire width of the part of Footpath Fulwood 6 from its junction with Guiding Road at SD 5704 3279 running north/north east for 95 metres to SD 5707 3288.

Footpath diversion (alternative footpath)

A public footpath from its junction with Guiding Road at SD 5704 3279 running south east for 20 metres on land immediately adjacent to the north side of Guiding Road to its junction with Trefoil Way at SD 5706 3278). The width of the footpath will be 3 metres.
