The next scheduled elections will take place on Thursday 6 May 2021.

We are following Covid Health and Safety advice and Electoral Commission guidance to make our polling stations safe for you to vote. 

The deadline to vote by post at these elections has now passed however you will be able to go to your polling station to vote.

The nomination period has now closed. It is too late to apply to be a candidate for these elections.

More information about the Police and Crime Commissioner Election will be available from Blackburn City Council.

A meeting of all candidates and agents took place on Thursday 15 April 2021 at 6pm.  

When should I register to vote?

It is now too late to register to vote at these elections. If you are already on the register, you do not need to register again.

If you are not on the register, you can apply to vote at future elections online at GOV.UK - Register to vote.

It is now too late to vote by post at these elections.
